Today is my final day working at the hotel. As of Monday, I will be full-time running Fruzie’s Collectibles. This is an exciting venture for us, but one that will surely keep us praying and working hard.
For the time being, Suzie will continue working at her job. Our goal is to move her full-time to the business with me. For Suzie, this will be a return to the past. Her grandfather, father, uncles, aunts, cousins and brother have all made their living in similar fields. Many of these were auctioneers or worked at auctions. Some had their own shops.
The past several months have seen our eBay sales take off with each month being better than any of the previous months. I was greatly encouraged when I read an article by a prominent eBayer that July sales are traditionally the low point of the year for eBay sales. For us, July will finish as our highest sales month and our most profitable to date.
In July we also became Top-Rated Sellers on eBay. This should only help us in the months to come.
We have sold items to people all over the world. With over 1 billion registered eBay buyers, we get great exposure to a vast audience.
