A Longhorn in the Sooner State
Texas Longhorns Jacket shipped to Guymon, Oklahoma
My roots are in the state of Oklahoma. I graduated from high school and college in that state. I vigorously root for the Oklahoma Sooners. So when I came across a Texas Longhorn wind jacket, I felt angst when paying for it.
I rationalized that I should be glad to help a Longhorn fan put his money in my pocket 
.
Alas, the jacket sold and I shipped it out today — to Guymon, Oklahoma. Now I really feel poorly. I have supplied a Longhorn in the Sooner state with his Texas apparel.

Are You Ready for the NFL Conference Championships?
The matches are set for the NFL Conference Championships. In the AFC the Baltimore Ravens will be playing at the New England Patriots. In the NFC the New York Giants travel out west to face the San Francisco 49ers.
Do you have your NFL team gear and souvenirs? This morning we have already sold a New York Giants t-shirt to a customer in Los Angeles. In the past 90 days we have sold over 3 dozen NFL items. Currently we have about the same number of items for sale.
Today marks 8 years since I first began selling on eBay. For 7 plus years it was simply a random hobby. Above is a copy of the letter sent from eBay’s President and CEO.

You Had Me At Bacon
You had me at bacon. Say what? That doesn’t sound exactly like the quote from Jerry McGuire.
We seldom pick up slogan shirts to sell, but I could not pass this one up. Today it sold in our eBay store to a customer in Wisconsin. After all, who can pass up bacon (unless your diet is kosher). Perhaps it was bacon that caused the statement, The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
1996 Chicago Bulls – NBA Championship Hat
Even though the NBA season is on hold due to labor issues, we still invested $2 in a Chicago Bulls hat. This hat commemorated the 1996 NBA Championship won by the Bulls. Of course, those were the days of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and gang.
We listed this on auction during a special that eBay was running. It cost only a penny to list. We set the initial bid to be $9.99 plus $5.95 for shipping. 33 bids later this hat was being shipped to Maine.
