A couple of weeks ago, I found a Disney jacket at our local thrift store. This was the last item that the clerk rang up. Before she did, I stopped her. I had found the jacket in the section for long sleeve shirts. That section was priced just under $4. However, jackets and coats are normally $5.99.
Let’s back up about 3 minutes. This particular store has a new manager. He seems to be all about moving stuff out the door. That’s a very good thing for the customers. As I was heading toward the checkout line, this manager announced that the first five people to the checkout would get 25% of one item.
